About the designer
From a young age, Arezou Shokoufandeh’s heart has always been drawn to the stars.
Her fascination with the cosmos is more than just a curiosity; it’s part of her life story. Her two children, Keyvan (which means "King of the Universe") and Sirus (named after the brightest star, Sirius), are living tributes to her cosmic love.
In 2012, while exploring stunning images from the Hubble Space Telescope, Arezou had an epiphany.
Why not bring the magic of space closer to us?
Why not make the stars wearable?
And so began her journey to create jewelry that captures the awe-inspiring beauty of the universe, translating star maps into exquisite designs that can be worn and cherished.
Unable to find a technique that captured the depth and detail of these star-studded maps, she took matters into her own hands and developed a groundbreaking approach to beaded jewelry.
Now, after 8 years of turning astronomical phenomena into stunning jewelry pieces, Arezou is on a mission to share the wonder of the universe with you.
